WELCOME HOME YSL ARTY!

On Friday night I left work a little late and the boyfriend swung past picked me up and we went out for dinner I was feeling way too lazy to cook and plus it was Friday. We went to our trusty local Olando Thai on Bay Street.

I wanted something to eat the minute I walked in the door as I was starving so I asked the boyfriend if he wanted to get some spring rolls to share - he said no and when I asked the waitress if I could take them home if I didn't finish them all, she gave me a weird look. C'mon how was I meant to know they where mini spring rolls!?

You'll be happy to know I ate all of these - and of course with the boyfriends help.
Men always change their minds.

Everyone loves the little black box that arrives from Net-A-Porter and how nice is their packaging? I think I get more excited from the way the box looks rather than what's actually inside.

Bad I know, but the other day at work I was on the Net A Porter website just to see what nice things would catch my attention and of course it was the YSL Arty Ring and I had to add this little baby to my collection.

I was really surprised when our receptionist came through with this little box as it was 1 day later - Now that's fast shipping!
Sorry about the instagram filter photos.

It was Orthodox Easter on the weekend - So happy Easter to any orthodox readers I have.

I have been giving my hair some loving recently and it's really paid off.
MUK products I find are the best for my hair because its so heavy and sometimes frizzy, the MUK shampoo and Condition which I have blogged about before - really are my favorite, it gives me the best results and I can go nearly 4 days without washing my hair because it feel so soft and smooth. I'll stick with this one fo sure! I know that some of your said you'd try it but did you?

Yesterday I got my wife on and cooked - I didn't follow a recipe because hey who has time for that!? So i walked around the supermarket putting in bits and pieces and walked away $20 later. That's pretty good for soup right? I had herbs - Garlic, Bay Leafs, Ginger, Potato, Celery, Carrot and Spring Onions with Chicken Stock. I think the most expensive item was the organic ginger @ $5.00.

It was actually pretty tasty!
Hope you all had a great weekend.

FACEBOOK & RAINY DAYS

Everyone loves cake. Especially Ice-cream cake - on thursday one of the boys at work had his 30th and the only way to celebrate is with cake.

My boss also gave me a coffee card with free coffee or a whole week. I've actually gone off coffee at the moment - Who'd have thought?! I've been drinking green tea in the mornings instead and have started feeling so much more awake! So thanks for the advice a little while back.. I'm now working on my breakfast issues haha.

This is what happens when you burn yourself with the hair straightener.
Worlds most unco right here.

As apart of the food and wine festival they put together a urban coffee farm in south bank, if you're from Melbourne you've probably seen/been here but its right beneath our work.. Since I've gone off the coffee I haven't tried their coffee but after 5 it turns into a bar and Friday night after work my work buddies and I went to check it out.

Featuring Burbon Espresso Martini.
The weather was ah amazing yesterday but in true style today was wet, cold and miserable.
The boyfriend was working over time today so I got my domestic goddess out and cleaned, cooked and dragged out all of my winter clothes to give them a good wash.

I'm not complaining Autumn is my favorite season (Birthday time!) but I wasn't ready as this weather came out of no where after our 9 day heat wave! Which made me want to go shopping but I listened to that little conscious of mine that was yelling out save save save! Didn't stop me jumping online to see what I was missing out on.

I made a facebook page so I can interact with you guys more.. So I would love it if you could like/follow..Happy Days.

RAIN RAIN.. GO AWAY

If I haven't mentioned this before, I'll mention it now.. I hate rain.

This was the message I sent to our receptionist this morning to let her know I would be late. Turns out I was 1.5hours late. I live 10 minutes from work! Crazy Melbourne weather and traffic I swear people lose it whenever the rain starts to fall.

So instead of hitting my pile of work I am sitting here with more curls in my hair (thank you mother nature) with my trusting T2 Peppermint cup posting this!.

In more happy news because we all love food, On Friday we went to Merrywell at Crown for lunch, this definitely wasn't what I was excepting I had heard good things about this place.

Its really hard to graciously eat a burger that's almost the size of your head hahaha in saying that the food was delicious. I ordered the merrywell burger my favourite part was the fries they where so crunchy and full of goodness. Drooling just thinking about it.
If you haven't been yet then make sure you do.

My Saturday night was spent putting on some extra kgs with my favourite Ben and Jerrys Ice-cream while watching equally as bad movies.. I needed a quiet weekend so I wasn't complaining.

Sunday afternoon we ventured out to catch some sun which resulted in getting coffee and juice and then right next door to the coffee shop is Flight Centre, I could feel the boyfriends eyes enlarge as he was thinking of excuses to get me away from the window. hahahah poor kid.

How cheap are these prices!?

The other day during my lunch break I headed over to crown and had a little look around at what Witchery had in stock. Witchery for me is such a hit and miss some days I can walk in and want everything other days nothing stands out at me.

I did however love this pink maxi dress $149.00 It's still in the back of my mind but I decided against it after I tried it on and umm'd and arrgh'd and probably drove the sales assistant cray cray.

Autumn is right around the corner which exists me beyond belief. I love Autumn not only is it my birthday but I love the fashion and layers that come around for Autumn. Have you seen anything good in stores yet?

STRAYA' DAY

Long weekends always fly by so fast.
I actually woke up yesterday in a panic thinking what if it's not a public holiday and I've misssed work? Freak I know.

Everyone loves a post that starts off about food - so here it is.
On Friday a group of us headed out for lunch to Leftbank - We work right next to it so its the perfect little place to go! Their happy hour is my favourite but lets not discuss that now.

I had the Warm Korean BBQ Beef salad  - I've had this so many times before and it just gets better better and better each time!  One thing that Left bank does good is their pizza! My colleagues ordered a BBQ beef Pizza.. I had a bite and omg the sauce on that pizza was amazing!

I've noticed how much Australia "Strayla Mate" Day celebrations really can bring out the inner bogan in all of my facebook friends.. haha! I did my part to help with feeling Aussie and made the boyfriend and myself some vegemite on toast. He looked at me and asked "what is this for?"

We caught the fireworks later that night from our Balcony.
In the midst of my nesting stage we (the boyfriend) decided to upgrade our TV after alot of umming and arrghing we decided with the 65inch which makes our lounge room look a movie cinema.
I wasnt complaining as I know zilch about tvs so he made a good choice.

My favourite feature is that its sound activated which is great for someone lazy like myself. You just have to say "TV" first and then it comes up with a list of options.. EG; Change the channel, Volume up or down.. Search functions etc etc - All while sitting on the couch. Bingo!

I also dragged the boyfriend to House on Sunday as I wanted to get a new dinner set - They had some great sales on but nothing was jumping out at me to say buy me buy me! I did like this platter by Marie Claire but not enough to buy it.

I did tho fall in love with these Chloe sunglasses - The boyfriend made sure he had made up some excuse to leave the store before I could take them to the counter.

Lastnight we ended up picking up Crust pizza for dinner - I love Crust and it's probably the only pizza that i'll eat nowdays and we make it a rare thing which also adds to the excitment.

Mmmm..Pizza
Please dont judge me hahahaha.

On a serious note - Just looking at all of these floods and natural disasters Australia wide - I hope everyone remains safe and away from danger xx
