Yep. I have that song stuck in my head! As most of you would all know especially if you live in Melbourne but if not it was the biggest trend on twitter and plastered all over facebook lastnight that Melbourne had an earthquake! We were sitting down having dinner when the table started to move I actually thought it was D shaking the table aha until I realised.. No! It lasted about 40 seconds
I poked my head out of our apartment door and all neighbours where doing the same thing.. The lady next door had her TV fall off the wall and smash!
Lucky we didnt get any damage.
10.30pm rocked around lastnight and instead of being at home curled up in bed I was at the supermarket we had three things on our list to get
- Peanut Butter
-Eggs
-Bananas
Until Dim decided he wanted to count calaories on the back of the Oats packet and see which one he preferred - which is my next question
What do you have for breakfast!?
Oats. Not the quick ones though, traditional. With a spoonful each of white chia seeds, protein powder and honey. Keeps me full all morning and has heaps of my RDIs :-)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm my changes every day, but lately I have been loving boiled eggs with toast or muffins. I find the egg fills me up, low in calories and is easy to take to work!
ReplyDeletemultigrain quick oats w water and frozen berries!! i missed the earthquake :( we were in the car... waaah.
ReplyDeleteI heard about the earthquake. My facebook news feed was flooded with earthquake status's by all my Melbourne friends. I better check up with my parents, hopefully they didnt have any damage.
ReplyDeleteHow do you have the motivation to go outside to buy a few things at that hour? lol
I have plain oats with water (heated up in the microwave) with slices of a banana and green tea for brekky =] What do you usually have?
I dont thats my problem! I'll usually down half a banana but its not enough and really bad for me, especially since I am trying to improve my fitness levels!
DeleteI have the Quaker Oats every morning, I prefer them to the Uncle Tobys.
ReplyDeleteCute purse.
You should blog about the Celine bag that Dim got you, I really want to see it!
Stay tuned re: Celine!
DeleteI have toast with ricotta and berries most mornings - or if I am travelling I use those porridge sachets with water and banana:)
ReplyDeleteNOTHING but a few mouthfuls of coffee.
ReplyDeleteThats my biggest issue!!!!!!
The earthquake was a bit strange, the first I saw of it on twitter I thought it was a joke... nope it wasn't! Glad there was no damage for you though.
ReplyDeleteI have a Shake :) Yummo!
Though sometimes I rebel and have oats, they are so so good on a cold morning!
Usually some oatmeal or a banana and yogurt.
ReplyDeleteBrought is the past tense of "to bring".
ReplyDeleteBought is the past tense of "to buy".
Hope this helps :)
Why thank you!
DeleteI'm not a grammar queen and don't intend to be - but thankfully i have readers like you that have my back ;-)

Usually it's wholemeal toast with either avo and tomato/low fat cottage cheese and tomato/natural peanut butter. Today I had raw muesli with coconut, chopped banana, sunflower kernels, chia seeds and almond milk. So delicious. I wish our supermarkets were open as late as yours!
